Free, family-friendly Halloween fun in downtown Mount Carroll on October 31 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a kids' Harvest Carnival, pumpkin painting, a gourd build-n-race track, giant inflatables, and the Farmer's Market.
Mount Carroll Pumpkin Fest offers a variety of free, family-friendly activities to help you get into the spirit of Halloween. Join the fun on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Mount Carroll.
Activities include the Harvest Carnival kids area featuring many games plus crafts at the library, face painting, and pumpkin painting. Up in the courtyard you'll find the mini gourd build-n-race track and three giant inflatable games. Line dancing witches and a ping-pong ball drop add to the fun.
The Farmer's Market opens at 8 a.m. with many vendors, a variety of food options, and live music by Marques Morel.
A free shuttle will run every 20 minutes from the Davis Community Center to the downtown area all day.
