Do the Time Warp at The Dixon with a live shadow cast, costume contests, games, and an interactive screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Oct. 30.
Do the Time Warp at The Dixon: Historic Theatre in Dixon, Illinois, with The Rocky Horror Picture Show Live – Shadow Cast Experience on Friday, Oct. 30.
Presented by Mosaic Theatre Troupe in collaboration with The Dixon, this interactive event pairs the iconic 1975 cult-classic film with a live shadow cast performing on stage as the movie plays behind them. Costumed performers recreate the characters, movements, and memorable moments in real time, bringing Brad, Janet, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, and the rest of the outrageous crew off the screen and onto the stage.
The fun begins at 7 p.m. with costume contests and games, followed by the show at 7:30 p.m. Prop bags will be available for purchase at the theatre; outside prop bags are not permitted, and prop bags are not allowed in the balcony.
Whether you know every word or you're experiencing Rocky Horror for the first time, expect an evening of music, comedy, audience participation, and wonderfully over-the-top Halloween-weekend fun.
