Downtown Rochelle hosts an afternoon trick-or-treat the day before Halloween, giving families a daytime option to show off costumes and fill their bags in the heart of town.
It runs from 2 to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 30, centered on the corner of 5th Avenue and North Main Street. The City of Rochelle lists the event, and questions can go to City Hall at 815-562-6161. The city also lists trick-or-treat hours on Halloween itself, Saturday, October 31, from 5 to 8 p.m.
